Basic Packages

A few basic packages have been compiled to assist with costs for basic décor for a wedding. These packages do not include any customized items and optional extras.

All costs below are vat inclusive, but exclude all logistic and setup / breakdown fees that need to be calculated based on your venue, start and end time and number of people.

Ceremony décor package options

Bronze ceremony package at R625 including vat

  • Chair sash for 20 chairs in taffeta or organza
  • 10m red carpet
  • Cloth for registry table

Silver ceremony package at R2350 including vat

  • Chair sash for 20 chairs in taffeta or organza
  • 10m red carpet
  • Cloth for registry table
  • Two 1-meter silver flute vases with a large *artificial cream hydrangea ball arrangement or very loose fresh flower arrangements with a lot of greenery and seasonal flowers.

*Artificial flowers on rental basis

Gold ceremony package at R4400 including vat

  • Chair sash for 20 chairs in taffeta or organza
  • Pew flower detail for 20 chairs (1-2 fresh flowers plus ribbon, or a small white silk flower ball for 20 chairs)
  • Choice between a 10 m red carpet or a 10m white carpet (white recommended for indoor use only)
  • 1 bag petals – to scatter down side of aisle (only white if using a white carpet)
  • Cloth for registry table
  • Two 1-meter silver flute vases or white plinths with a large *artificial cream hydrangea ball arrangement or very loose fresh flower arrangements with a lot of greenery and seasonal flowers.
  • Confetti stands with fresh rose petal confetti for 100 people

Diamond ceremony package – price calculated for first 50 guests : R6900 including vat

Add R45 per additional person (in excess of 50 people) at ceremony to cover cost  for chair hire and petal confetti

  • 50 tiffany or Wimbledon chairs
  • Chair sash for 10 chairs in taffeta or organza
  • Pew flower detail on 10 chairs (1-2 fresh flowers plus ribbon, or a small white silk flower ball on 10 chairs )
  • Choice between a 10 m red or 10m white carpet (recommended for indoor use only)
  • 1 bag fresh petals –  to scatter down side of aisle (only white if using a white carpet)
  • Cloth for registry table
  • Two plinths or vases for chapel arrangements
  • Two medium-sized loose green-based focal arrangements for chapel (costs for larger arrangements on request)
  • Confetti stands with fresh rose petal confetti for 50 people

Bridal party flower cost guideline:

  • Bridal bouquet medium posy bouquet, starting at R430
  • Bridal bouquet medium teardrop bouquet, starting at R950
  • Bridesmaids small posy bouquets from R280
  • Buttonholes from R50

Main table décor

We generally suggest doubling the budget of your guest table to get an estimate cost for a main table seating two people.  (If your main table exceed two guests then budget on the reception table package cost for every additional three people at the main table in addition to the cost for two people.)

  • Stage
  • Lighting
  • Dance floor

Other things you may require (additional cost):

  • Logistic fees (delivery / setup and breakdown to be added to the package costs) based on your venue , number of guests etc – and will be quoted once we know your exact requirements.
  • Usually, you can budget between R2500 and R6000 for delivery, setup and breakdown in office hours in the central Johannesburg / Johannesburg North areas. This depends on venue, number of people and final order placed with us. Afterhours fees to be added when needed.  Additional logistic costs will apply for any optional extras added.
  • All package items are based on stock that SA Wedding Decor owns.  Prices are not valid on subhire or customized stock.
  • All costs exclude refundable damages deposit
